Japan Quality Assurance Organization
The Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA) has a nonprofit background specializing in registration services for ISO management systems as well as safety testing and certification for compliance to a variety of standards, both national and international.
JQA delivers services ranging from product and component safety, the health and safety of the public, environmental evaluations, the authentication of compliance, and to regulations for fast-growing information technologies.
Our commitment is to meet the satisfaction of business, industry, government and consumers.
Role in the project:
JQA will be leading the Japanese side of WP 4, Standards, Norms and Interoperability. Other areas such as ethics, privacy, security, and regulatory aspects are also areas of interest. JQA hopes to support this project through standardization related activities.
